Inaugural French biomethane auction, 80 GWh fully subscribed
The first auction for supported biomethane volumes in France settled on 4 December 2024. A total of 80 GWh was made available by EEX, with all volumes sold at an average price of EUR 9.5/MWh – 15% discount to the EU market price and an even larger discount to the EU ETS.
