Fitri Wulandari
Analyst - Voluntary Carbon
LinkedInI cover voluntary markets here at Veyt, where I help map out the international carbon market for our clients. Due to the voluntary nature of the market and the lack of formal regulation, market participants can often feel disoriented. Here at Veyt, I am building up our voluntary carbon platform to equip our clients with the tools and know-how they need to navigate the market with confidence.
My objective is to bring transparency and actionable insights to our clients on how the voluntary carbon market is developing. I produce data-driven insights consisting of market analysis and outlook by examining market balances, market sentiments, and the evolving regulatory landscapes.
I trained as an engineer first in environmental engineering, and subsequently gained a master’s in Germany in energy and environmental management. In between my studies, I was an intern at PwC Indonesia, working on sustainability and climate change, which was a nascent topic in Indonesia at the time. Subsequently I became a market research specialist at South Pole, focusing on corporate climate action, which includes carbon management and renewable energy services. This is where I first developed my understanding of carbon markets, especially the magnitude of corporate demand for carbon credits and the evolving market framework. Since then, I have continued to develop my understanding of the carbon market rollout in developing and emerging market economies.
I am based in Berlin and speak English, Bahasa Indonesian and German. Away from my desk, I enjoy baking and some outdoor activities.
